Testing http traffic using laptops as hosts
I have two laptops connected to the interfaces acting as server hosts. I have another laptop hooked up to the mgmt web interface as well as another laptop acting as a client. The health monitors for ICMP are green.
How do I send traffic to the host laptops? How/Can I test this traffic with wireshark? Do I need to set those laptops up as some sort of web server? Whats the easiest way to go about doing this?
- nitassEmployeein case u want to use netcat as web server.
- nacejj_65488NimbostratusThanks I found that simply enabling IIS on windows on both the "node" laptops was easiest. You can also change one of the photos in the HTML so you can see which node is working! Simply unplug one of the laptops and see your F5 failover to the other node.
