iRules
Can we use iRules for Performance L4 Virtual server?
Performance (Layer 4) virtual servers operate at the transport layer and are designed for high throughput and low latency. They do not support iRules, which require the system to process traffic at a higher layer (typically Layer 7 with Standard or Performance (HTTP) virtual servers) where the full TCP/UDP payload is available for inspection and manipulation.

No, you cannot use iRules with a Performance (Layer 4) virtual server on BIG-IP.
