Telnet wit ousrce IP specified

HI Guys, I was wondering how do I telnet from a specific source IP without getting the below ugly message which never stops: telnet -b 172.16.0.1 172.16.1.1 505 Trying 172.16.1.1... 172.16.0.1: Cannot assign requested address No connection. Escape character is '^]'.   • that is a nice bug you found, now im stuck also :)

     

    well the solution is simple, don't use an IP which isn't assigned to an interface on your BIG-IP.

     

    when you use an IP assigned to an interface it works fine.

     

  • not a bug hunter :) thanks a lot, it actually works fine if if source IP is a self IP (was using snat IP)
