ssl (https) compression
I can't seem to post a forum to the "performance testings" as I've already joined the group, so I thought I post it on here.
Does anyone know if ssl compression can be done on the f5? I don't seen any options in the services profiles to do this.
I only http compression available.

TRX

Decrypting the SSL using a client SSL profile.
Aaron - Hello ,
So I found that using HTTP profile to do HTTP compression and applying that to the SSL VS works as expected. I see that in the response header that the content is gzipped.
Aaron, do you agree with with my results?
Thanks.

Hi TRX,
Yep, that sounds good.

SSL Compression became effective with RFC 3749, and it isn't supported by LTM. Anyway, because of the CRIME and BREACH attacks, both SSL compression and HTTP compression shouldn't be used by default.
