snmp graph request/sec on virtualserver not on port 80
I am trying to do some graphs and all is working except if the virtual server is running on a different port than 80, I use /usr/bin/snmpget -m ALL -v2c -c public -OQv lb1 F5-BIGIP-LOCAL-MIB::ltmVirtualServStatTotRequests.\"www.example.com\" and output is correct.
But if i snmpwalk ltmVirtualServStatTotRequests all virtualservers that are on some other port than 80 as a 0 value
F5-BIGIP-LOCAL-MIB::ltmVirtualServStatTotRequests."smtp.example.com" = Counter64: 0
I have used snmpwalk to get the value some how but I haven't managed to find the value yet, does someone have a smart way to get the value?
- hooleylistCirrostratusI think requests per second assumes HTTP requests. In order for LTM to parse a request, there must be an HTTP profile on the virtual server. So it's not that this only works for port 80 virtual servers--it's only for virtual servers with an HTTP profile.
- Barnes_8210NimbostratusI see that's why it does not work with HTTPS either since profile is "none".
Thanks!
