In response to the potential URI concerns, the plot may have thickened. I just found that there are multiple URLs:

 

http://currenturl.olddomain.local/webapp http://currenturl.olddomain.local/abc http://currenturl.olddomain.local/scan http://currenturl.olddomain.local/scan/something.htm

 

Not sure how this changes things in the iRule...
