Seemless failover - tcp session
Hi
Wanted to do ltm + apm seemless failover
Thought I could do it with conection mirroring turned on but
https://my.f5.com/manage/s/article/K09115252
seems to suggest you can't have APM fail over and connection fail over .
so my long lived tcp session have to die....
Any one know of a way to do this with out killing the tcp session !!!!

Seems like the current suggest from the current support engineer is
I need to setup
VS with LTM + connection mirroring
VS with APM with APM HA
Wondering what type server should I setup the LTM vs and it really seems like overkill
AlexS_yb Connection mirroring typically handles this but some connections just wont failover without some sort of disruption. Why the necessity to have absolutely zero downtime for TCP connections?

Its a requirement from the devs / business. We need to provide a seemless failover
The PA's do it and the F5's LTM seem to do it, its just when you APM that it will not do it.
