remove iRule from VIP
- Jul 05, 2019
The connections will usually continue. My experience is that I have to close the browser, where the service is running, before any changes to the vIP is experienced. So far this has applied to everything from certificates to HTTP redirects. Even creating a new VS based on my source ip address (with the same vIP:port) requires me to terminate the TCP connection before the change is experienced.
I can't guarantee anything, I'm only describing my personal experiences with changes to the configuration.
Even a real server dying doesn't terminate the connection unless your settings requires it to.
