Question about Partitions

I have created a Development partition on my LTM, but I can't figure out how to create/move a VIP into it. I have Admin access on the LTM. Any help would be appreciated

    In the past when I have had to do this, I ended up manually modifying bigip.conf and moving the specific configuration into the new partition. I'm not sure there is a way to handle this via the UI. I wish there was, though.

    There is no way from the GUI or the ClI to move between partitions... You have to create them there..

    I am not finding a way to create a VIP in a different partition either. Is there an option I am missing somewhere when creating the VIP?

    Hi Daniel,

     

     

    In the GUI, you'd select the partition from the top left and then create the virtual server. You should be able to edit the bigip.conf to move existing virtuals to a new partition. But reloading the config could be disruptive to existing connections.
