queries about f5 installer store

Hi ,

 

I have questions about f5 installation queries:-

 

1.) when import the f5 11.6 or HF4 installer in f5 machine, where is the default folder stored the f5 installer?

 

2.) after install 11.6 with HF4.0. lf want to remove the HF4.0 install.. can know what is the steps to uninstall? I cannot find it in the user interface feature...cant find the article to remove the installer with steps...

    Hello, images/ISO are positionned in /shared/images.

     

    upgrade/install are always done on a new volume. So you can remove the legacy one running your previous version from the system/disk Management / HD1 menu.

     

    There is no possibility to uninstall an HF. but assuming you were running 11.6.0 and you have installed HF4, as said it will be on a secondary volume, so all you need is booting back to 11.6.0 volume if you are not satisfied with HF4.
