Push mail via F5 reverse proxy

All,

 

 

I am looking at deploying push mail with MS Exchange activesync platform. The purpose of this platform is to deliver mails to mobile devices like e.g. Iphones. I think this should be possible because it is a regular HTTPS connection. But I am not 100% sure if this is going to work. And can we do some security checks on this kind of traffic ?

 

 

PS: We only have the ASM module activated on our big ip appliance.

 

 

Does anyone have experience with this kind of a setup ?

    Have you tried to create a virtual server with a trasnparent policy to test this? From what it sounds like, in theory it should work, but we sometimes put our new policies in transparent mode in the lab to test its behavior. Directly, we have not tried to implement your specific solution.
