Purpose of Mac Masquerade ??

Guyz i still dont get it, what is the purpose of mac masquerade ???   is it used to minimize arp entries to the router is it used to prevent arp cache errors is it used to allow two redundant big...

What is the purpose of mac masquerading ?

 

3)is it used to allow two redundant big ips to use the same mac address

 

It is pretty much like VRRP sharing the MAC address.
