Posibility of adding the valid certificate at a later stage

Hi guys,

 

I am setting up one Virtual server using the iApp on version 11.1.0, currently I dont have a valid certificate for this setup, I will be having it shortly. Will it be possible to create the setup now and change the certificate this setup uses at a later stage once i have the certificate available and i upload it to the LTM box. As a best practice may be it is not recommended but technically is there going to be any issue or will that be fine?????

    Hi Techgeeg,

     

     

    Yes, you can use a self signed cert to start with. Once you have the CA signed cert, you can disable strict updates on the iApp, update the cert config and then re-enable strict updates.
