NimbostratusPort redirection from 80 to 8090
Hi,
i have tried the irule for port redirection from 80 to 8090. when HTTP_REQUEST { HTTP::redirect http://[getfield [HTTP::host] ":" 1]:8090[HTTP::uri] }
Objective is to redirect all the request to 8090, we have configured Virtual server on port 8090.

should be working, can you look at the browser level with a plugin to see the response from bigip ?

Hi Arnaud/F5Maniac,
it will work with IP as well...rit..? because still we are not using domain name/FQDN to access service.
And in browser it just keep on trying and ends with nothing.
- InnOYes it will work. the iRule just grabs the first part of the host header, so the problem may not be in the iRule itself which is pretty straght forward.. I suppose your 8090 server is already able to answer direct HTTP requests ?
