Hi Arnaud/F5Maniac,

 

it will work with IP as well...rit..? because still we are not using domain name/FQDN to access service.

 

And in browser it just keep on trying and ends with nothing.

Yes it will work. the iRule just grabs the first part of the host header, so the problem may not be in the iRule itself which is pretty straght forward.. I suppose your 8090 server is already able to answer direct HTTP requests ?
