NimbostratusPoor App performances through LTM

We are having performance issues with an HTTP Website going through the Big IP LTM. Architecture is as follow:
Public VS (Pub DMZ) -> Private VS (Priv DMZ) -> Physical Server
From the Trust network, if we try to access the HTTP Website through the private VS, performances are OK. From the Trust network or from the Internet (tested with outside access), if we try to access the public VS, performances are terrible (up to 10-15sec to fully load the home page)?
To be honest because of the performances being OK on the private VS, I don't think this is coming from the BigIP. This being said, I wanted to see if anything would come to mind to you guys, or at least ways to troubleshoot and pinpoint the root cause.

Your network team needs to check the routes into private DMZ. Not sure if you're doing OSPF/EIGRP, or static, but my guess is you're doing something prior to PRIV-DMZ and it's causing the issue. Rule out anything upstream from priv-DMZ.
Ping from your pub-dmz to priv and see if you're getting packet loss...Seems outside of BIG-IP honeslty.

You can try and use the TCP optimized profile to see if that makes any difference.
