Not finding any connection table entries after enabling "Datagram LB" within the UDP profile

Hello All, In order to fix the unequal UDP load balancing issue I have enabled "Datagram LB" within the UDP profile. After that I'm not find any session entries for the VIP in the LB connection table.

 

(cfg-sync In Sync)(Active)(/Common)(tmos) show sys connection cs-server-addr 10.10.18.10 Sys::Connections Total records returned: 0

 

So as per my understanding enabling the "Datagram LB" option will create a new UDP-Connection flow for each single UDP-packet received from the same SourceIP+SourcePort and it will not create a connection table entires.

 

So does it mean enabling "datagram LB" is a stateless UDP traffic management? disabling "datagram LB" is a stateful UDP traffic management?

 

Since I'm not finding the session table entries for the new UDP profile with "datagram LB" check, where can I get the session statistics?

    Enabling 

    Datagram LB
    means that the load balancing decision will be made on every UDP datagram so you can think of this as being stateless.

    If you wanted to turn this into a stateful UDP connections you would need to apply some persistence profile based on something within the UDP datagram.

    I have done this for RADIUS traffic where traffic is coming from Cisco switch, so common IP addresses, and we setup Persistence using the RADIUS attributes
