CirrostratusMalik, typically the ICMP health monitor is used for Node monitors. If the F5 can't even ping the servers successfully you've a real problem; perhaps firewall or HIDS/HIPS on the servers?
As Nitass has suggested, if you are running HTTP servers, you should be using a HTTP monitor to check their availability.
It may work but you should ideally be using a different IP address for your VS and Pool Members.
