Your Query:- I'm confused. You are using Real_Server and SNMP monitors for the nodes but a HTTP monitor for the Pool Members. Exactly what type of service are you trying to load balance?

 

 

Dear Steve,

 

 

We have two application servers which are desktop applications and we have two web servers which will be deployed on IIS of two web servers.

 

 

REAL_SERVERS and SNMP monitors which were selected by default for two NODES from other monitor listed there NODES are not showing GREEN icon.

 

 

Only if we select REAL_SERVER for NODE 2 and SNMP for NODE1 these nodes show online.

 

 

Your Query:- You are also using the same IP address for the VS as one of the Pool Members

 

 

Our network Administrator gave us 10.21.X.X scheme of VLAN to play with.

 

 

So we give 10.21.100.1 for NODE1 and 10.21.100.2 for NODE2

 

 

And for Virtual Server we gave 10.21.200.1

 

 

And for self IP we gave 192.168.1.1

 

 

Please suggest.
