- Alexander_Kova1Historic F5 AccountYou can try https:///vdesk/terminal/urvpn.exe or https:///public/download/urvpn.exe to re-install VPN driver.

fredrik: I encountered the same issue on W2k some time ago. Removing components manually and re-installing did not work.
So I used the F5winInfo.exe tool that is available from the Admin UI of Firepass (Device Management / Client Downloads / Download tab / Download Component Troubleshooting Utility) to remove the components. Restarted the computer and re-installed the components.
Then is worked fine and I could never reproduce the error.
Please let me know if that works for you as well.
Thanks,

Sorry for late reply.
I reinstalled the machine and it worked.
It was the driver fro the client that dident get installed and it seems that XP refused to install it. - Mutiny1_65016

I am also experiencing the issue.
I have tried the suggestions above, as well as uninstalling via the Info utility and reinstalling both via the interface as well as the Stand Alone client installer. No go. Another point of note is that the customized package for the standalone client installer never succeeds... and rolls back at the end. The user is a local admin, and the site is a trusted site in IE7. I have also tried installing / connecting via a different local user on the laptop, same results. The user is able to connect via a different PC fine. Any thoughts or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. - fredrik_30653

I found a solution.
uninstalled with urvpn and removed the components with f5wininfo
uninstalled mobile broadband application.
installed vpn client.
then it worked.
In my case it was a problem with my broadband application. In this case from Telenor.
But when installing the application again everything seems to work. - Matthew_Schippe

So our problem was a little different... here is the fix.
For us, a stock image on our laptop fleet had the "Remote Access Connection Manager" service disabled. This service must be set to at least "Manual" for the F5 SSL VPN or Stand Alone Client to work. - Mike_61719

Good catch, what is so good about the VPN client?
The client appears to be using IE as the rendering engine but not using Iexplore? That is the only difference to me. - asldfkjasldfkj_
