Hi,
We have seen quite a few issues with Outlook/Exchange after we moved from Cisco ACE to F5.
But still there some few, that we need some input.

I was not able to reproduce this; I can access shared mailboxes via both MAPI and Outlook Anywhere clients and they update without issue.

Do you have your account set to download shared folders in cached mode?
