Modifying different HA vlan tags

Hi,

 

sorry to trouble. I need to clarify a little doubt.

 

I have 2 ltm v11.6.1 2000 series, active-standy configurated. I have also an HA vlan used only for this (vid 499) configured on my network equipments, and I have an untag port from each F5 to this vlan.

 

When I check on F5 HA vlan configuration, I see the vlan tag is different on both equipment and from HA vlan configured for that on network switches.

 

My question is: can I modify this tag and replace it for the vid 499 directly or should I do it on a maintenance window, just is case there is HA problems...?

    Yes you can. what you have now is probably because you left the VLAN tag blank when setting up the vlan. by default, F5 auto-assigns a VLAN tag. So what you need to do is to specify the vlan tag 499. "tmsh modify net vlan "
