maximum distance for network failover
UDP tiene que ser capaz de ir de un sitio a otro en menos de un segundo.
Physical failover is limited to 15m, due to attenuation. Network failover needs to have a one-way transit time of less than one second (or at least one heartbeat packet in three needs to transit in less than one second).
In the end, distance isn't really the factor, it's how long it takes UDP to propagate across your network. Measure that, and if it is reliably less than one second, you are close enough together to have network failover.
