LTM version 12 download - always Virtual Edition ?
I am upgrading 1600 LTM from version 11.4, the only download for version 12 is "Virtual Edition", the README in that directory says
The BIG-IP Virtual Edition (VE) 12.0.0 provides the ability to run BIG-IP version 12.0.0 as a virtual machine in supported hypervisors.
It does not seems to apply to my appliance/hardware. Besides, F5 actually has 2 different release notes for Virtual Edition and TMOS.
Just checked on the download center, and v12 is available as an iso file.

- Gary_ZhuNimbostratusSo for upgrading to 12 on F5 appliance, the 2 files are: BIGIP-12.0.0.0.0.606.iso and then Hotfix-BIGIP-12.0.0.1.0.628-HF1.iso are for non-virtual install ? I believe that's true, just to confirm.
- Yann_Desmarest_NacreousYes that's true. You can upload both on F5, the first one on images, the second one on hotfix. Then you just have to start installation by selecting the hotfix and a partition. It will install the main iso and add the HF automatically.
- Gary_ZhuNimbostratusThanks!
