LTM Connections logging to Syslog Server

Hi , I am running on LTM v 11.6.2. I would like to do a detailed syslog for all my connections including connections details etc for each VIP and it should include real IP address of client.

 

What is the current best method to achieve it. We will be sending syslog detials to Splunk.

    Hi Sunshine92

     

    You have a couple of options to get this done.

     

    First. You could use a logging profile. link text

     

    Second. You could do HSL using an irule.

     

    Third. You could use an Analytics profile enabling "Transaction capture". since you are sending logs to an

     

    external logging server, it's safe to do this and could be the most detailed.
