LTM & Virtual Address Server

Beginner here and just trying to understand a few things...

 

I am planning on configuring a LTM for simple Tomcat traffic.... 2 arm deployment.

 

LTM acts as gateway on apps vlan and has interface on infrastructure vlan. I have a pool of three servers on an apps vlan: 10.10.10.1, 10.10.10.2, 10.10.10.3 each running tomcat on port 8080.

 

When I create a virtual server, should the address be in the apps VLAN or "outside" on the infrastructure vlan. Clients will access from infrastructure vlan.
