Load balance DB2 with the GTM?

There are no default DB2 monitors provided in GTM or LTM. You can use a standard TCP monitor, but that will only tell you if the port is listening and able to establish a connection. If you want additional checking, I'd recommend writing a EAV monitor on the LTM using Perl. You might have to add the relevant DB2 libraries, but it is definitely doable. Hope this helps,
