May 06, 2012Link Controller : outbound traffic go to ISP 2 until ISP 1 is reached the bandwidth limit
Dear all,
i have to know how to implement the following idea.
Link Controller :
outbound traffic :
ISP 1 10M bandwidth
ISP 2 5M bandwidth
now , i have ISP 1 , if ISP 1 reach the 10M limit , i would like to direct the outbound traffic via ISP2.
is it possible to do it ?
any iRules ?

Hi Martin,
Yes, you can do it by adding weights to your links.
Browse to the LC -> Links and click on ISP1.
Under config change it to advanced.
Select the weighting parameter set to Price(Dynamic Ratio)
In the incremental segments add Up to : 10000000 bps @ 60 $/Mbps
and check the box for Duplex billing.
next clickon LC-> Links -> ISP2
Under config change it to advanced.
Select the weighting parameter set to Price(Dynamic Ratio)
In the incremental segments add Upto : 5000000bpd @ 120$/Mbps.
and check the box for Duplex billing.
Now in the LC > Inbound WideIps -> Select the wideip and select the members tab.
Select LB method as Quality of Service and under quality of service.. Mark all options to 0 except for Link Capacity.
Change the link capacity to say 1000 and click update..
you should be good
