  • I'm 99.9% sure we have this working with that FP OS configuration. Seems like I had to manually uninstall all the old plug-ins from the Mac and let it download the new. Not sure about the hotfix, but when the FP version changes, sometimes the plugins are updated as well. I don't know the exact history of the one I had to gut - it may have had the plugins before MacOS was upgraded. Worth a try anyway.
  • I got the same error "Tue, 20 Jan 2009 20:53:47 GMT [595]: control server: msg: "&sslsetstatus,v1,disconnectedwitherror,38""

in the version 6.0.3 with no hotfix installed. I think this error was fixed in 6.0.2 and now it is back in 6.0.3

  • Please help!

I have just bought the brand new 3.06 GHz Intel core 2 Duo imac running OS X 10.5.6 and desperately need to remotely access my works server through firepass. On my previous mac I had issues with the connection dropping out but I now can't even log on because pppd daemon didn't start. I have tried to download the hotfix suggested but I can't use the download. This is so frustrating, if anyone can give me advice in simple laymans terms I would appreciate it!

    Hi Trevor,

If it's an urgent issue and you don't get an answer here, I'd suggest opening a case with F5 Support. That will probably be the fastest way to get a response.

  • Hi Aaron

Thanks for your advice. Much appreciated. I will certainly do that.
  • With my setup this was solved with the upgrade to 6.0.3, which includes new plugins for Leopard browsers (excl. Safari 4 Beta). I use FF 3.x and it works fine now with Network Access.
