I haven't had any luck with all the things I've tried...namely this and 6.02 together:
sudo ln -s /var/run/DirectoryService.pid /var/run/lookupd.pid

Dec 09, 2008I'm 99.9% sure we have this working with that FP OS configuration. Seems like I had to manually uninstall all the old plug-ins from the Mac and let it download the new. Not sure about the hotfix, but when the FP version changes, sometimes the plugins are updated as well. I don't know the exact history of the one I had to gut - it may have had the plugins before MacOS was upgraded. Worth a try anyway.
