TMOS 21.0.0 compatibility
Hello.
The BigIP release matrix and the The F5 hardware/software compatibility matrix documents explicitely declare ix000 hardware serie as not compatible with TMOS 21.0.0. However, IHealth promotes it as an upgrade option for our i5600 hardware, and this uncompatibility doesn't match my own comprehension of "Hardware End of New Software Support (EoNSS)" limit, which is not reached yet for this platform until Jan 01 2026.
Does that means TMOS 21.0.0 is supposed to be made available later for this hardware, or just that iHealth has a bug, and that I missed something in the definition of EoNSS ?
Regards.

TMOS 21.0.0 is only a short term release so I wouldn't consider running this for anything other than testing purposes regardless of whether it is compatible or otherwise. TMOS 21.1.0 will follow at some point but no idea if that would include the ix000 hardware - my suspicion is that it won't.
Note: Beginning with BIG-IP 21.0.0, Short-Term Stability Releases will have a software lifecycle of 9 months—reduced from 12 months with previous software versions. Once released, Long-Term Stability Releases for BIG-IP 21.x will have a three-year Standard Support phase from First customer ship date.
Hi,
I series will not support 21.x . F5 hardware product lifecycle support policy for 21.x mostly support in Rseries devices. F5OS hardware/software support matrix
