Yes the reselect is limited to 2 tries. Don't know if its documented if not then some one should document this.
Secondly, when you call re-select it’s a bit of a Russian roulette. Depending on your LB method, we will pick the next available node and it’s possible it could be the same one that was just picked (failed). If you don't want that, then you need to mark it down before you do a reselect.
