Is there a way to delete an APM session variable?

Is there an iRule command to allow me to delete an APM session variable? I don't just want to set the variable to "" (empty string), I want to completely delete it from the session. I am able to create variables using [ACCESS::session set], but I would like to also be able to completely remove them.
