Install fails with MSI 1603 error on SCOM 2012 SP1

Hi all,

 

 

Can anyone help?

 

 

Trying to install the F5 MP on SCOM 2012 SP1. Getting the error below in the setup log

 

 

FatalError: msi failed to run with exit code: 1603

 

 

 

SCOM 2012 SP1 running on x64 Windows 2008 R2 servers

 

 

Same error on 2 separate SCOM installations.

 

 

 

In the windows eventlog also see (looks related)

 

 

System.DllNotFoundException: Unable to load DLL 'MOMBIDldr.dll': The specified module could not be found. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x8007007E)

 

 

at Bid.internalInitialize()

    I am having the exact same issue with version 3.2.1 on SCOM 2012SP1

    Same issue here. Same version and circumstances. Checked to ensure all accounts were correct with proper permissions. We noted the same error message. I tried installing 3 times on an MS and also the RMS (it complained about the console not being present, we do not have it installed on the RMS boxes).

     

     

    Does anyone have any ideas?
