I want to integrate F5 and IBM Cloud (kubernetes). Is possible to integrate with the same traditional environment

I want to integrate F5 and IBM Cloud (kubernetes). Is possible to integrate with the same traditional environment? I know that I need to create a new partition separated of the /common partition. But, is it sufficient? Will I have any impact in my traditional environment?
