HTTPS OR HTTP2 monitor
I took a packet capture(not on F5) for the pool member url as the receive string I was given was not working even with curl it didn't show the receive string we should see.
On my machine i was able to capture and decrypt data and saw http2 protocol on the wireshark capture. Was wondering if the monitor should be https or http2.
Looks like http2 is a more recent version for http 1.1.
1.When would we use http2 monitor? How does it work?
2.Is it better to enable monitor logging? Would Enabling it for short time be okay?
is the url http:// or https://?
if it is http:// then it means the pool member is h2c (http2 without tls)you can verify in curl using "--http2-prior-knowledge", e.g. "curl -vk --http2-prior-knowledge http://abc.def.com/..."
https://curl.se/docs/manpage.html#--http2-prior-knowledgef5 provides http/2 monitor profile with and without ssl/tls.
