Four things:
-
If you aren't offloading the SSL at the F5 with a client SSL profile, there's nothing you can do at the HTTP layer to affect the traffic (ie. HTTP redirects).
-
Assuming you have terminated the SSL at the F5 and can see the HTTP payload, the port number is generally handled by the pool and port translation in the VIP. As for the URI, is there a condition in which you need to add a value (ex. user doesn't specify a URI)?
-
Do you need to send the traffic to a specific node in the pool? If so, what condition of the client request should cause this?
-
This is perhaps semantic, but the word "redirect" (in HTTP) suggests that you need to have the client try a different URL and implies an additional round trip to/from the client in the overall flow. Can I assume that you mean "direct" in this case, that the traffic should be sent directly to, or diverted to a specific member from the original request?
