HTTP Cache Issue
Hi,
I am load balancing for 5 servers. If one of the server is going down due to some issue, users are still hitting on this server, though the F5 LB showing this node is down.
Until or unless we will clear the user IE cache browser they will not able to use the new server. I dont have special configuration for the http://test.abc.com. Simple HTTP load balancing.
How can i redirect the user to the health server without doing anything at the IE level. My numbers of users are more and i cannot go and clear the cache to user by user.
How can i fine tune the F5 LB that user automatically redirect to health server in case of exisiting serer is down without take any action at the user level.

What setting have you got configured for Action on Service down? If I recall it's a Pool setting.

Hope this helps,

So existing and persistent connections will attempt to use the downed pool member. Try changing to reselect.
