Hardware migration from Big-ip 1500 to 1600

Hello all,

 

 

We are going to migrate existent big-ip 1500 to new hardware 1600 and I would like to know if any procedure for that.

 

Can I just restore the backup configuration to new hardware?

    Hi Yoshio. I recently completed a number of software migrations from 9.3.1 directly to 10.2.0, and also moved hardware platforms from 6400 to 6900 at the same time. During the hardware migration, that's exactly what I did. I made sure the new target platform had the same software version, created a UCS on the old platform, and installed it on the new.
