GTM deployment and MX records.
Hi All,
I am testing sub-domain delegation to a pair of GTM's. (i'm cheating at this point by having two listeners on two internal IP's and having these NAT'd on the firewall to the external IP's but dont see this causing an issue) At this point I can do look-ups externally for the sub-domain and reach the GTM's and resolve wideip's as expected. I have created an MX record in zone-runner for the zone but when I do an MX lookup I simply get the SOA record back, this also returns the SOA when running the look-up directly to the GTM listener internally. I have also created A records in zone-runner and these resolve correctly.
I am missing something but not quite sure on what! Are there any GTM/DNS guru's that could offer any pointers/tips?
Thanks.

Do you have 'Use BIND Server on BIG-IP" enabled in the DNS profile associated with your listener(s)?

What's doing the translation of those records from the RFC private (192.168.101.254 and 192.168.102.254) addresses to your public addresses?
When you have an issue, what requests and responses do you see if you perform a tcpdump?
