F5 upgrade Hotfix license re-activate
We have HA pair of F5 (11.6.0) on production and planning to upgrade latest Hotfix. I heard its good practice to do License Re-activate before any upgrade, as we know Re-activate license re-load TMM so it's not safe to do on production so i did on standby box first but now i am seeing standby box showing "Changes Pending" so question is
- should i sync it changes?
- should i sync it from standby to primary?
- Does it going to disturb running traffic if i sync?

1) no need to sync changes at this point, but if you need - Sync from the active to standby 2) Sync from the active unit - Assuming you've got no reported faults in your organisation. 3) Only if you change/remove config as part of the sync. As a general rule "No" as long as your config is good.

You can sync from the active box but it is not necessary . After you upgrade the box, you will see the HA status disconnected because of version difference.

A sync between the HA pair from Active to Standby is generally recommended if you decide to failover to the standby unit after patching/hotfix.
On the license reactivation, it would depend on the License check date on the versions.
