HA is supported only between identically configured BIG-IP tenants at the tenant level between identical rSeries platforms. The tenants must have identical resources to ensure seamless HA failover. To implement HA between the tenants, you set up device service clustering (DSC) on the BIG-IP tenants.
When configuring BIG-IP HA failover on rSeries platforms, consider the following:
HA including serial (hardwired) failover is not supported within or between rSeries platforms at the appliance or F5OS level.
HA is supported only between identically configured BIG-IP tenants at the tenant level between identical rSeries platforms. The tenants must have identical resources to ensure seamless HA failover.
To implement HA between the tenants, you set up device service clustering (DSC) on the BIG-IP tenants. For more information, refer to the following:
