F5 Issue
Hi,
Below is the config of virtual, pool and snatpool on F5 that is in production. need assitance.
snatpool vlan12_sp { member 63.25.36.7 }
pool reversenpath_vlan12_pl { member 63.25.36.1:any }
virtual reversenpath_vlan20_vs {
snatpool vlan12_sp
pool reversenpath_vlan25_pl
destination any:any
mask 0.0.0.0
profiles fastl4_reversenpath_default {}
vlans 20 enable
Internet is not working on the servers connected to vlan 20.
Thanks - genseek
- nitassEmployeei am not sure what reversenpath means. anyway, when load balancing transparent device e.g. router or firewall or etc, pool is that transparent device.
- genseek_32178Nimbostratuswhat is the meaning of the below iRule?
- nitassEmployeeif traffic is coming from 10.0.0.0/8 subnet, translate source address to address in vlan12_sp snatpool.

- genseek_32178Nimbostratusnitass,
- nitassEmployeedoes it mean, traffic coming from the client side? or coming from the pool server side?client side.
- genseek_32178Nimbostratusnitass, can you help me to understand the below configuration
- nitassEmployeeA server with dual NICs with 1 NIC in private and other in public range iis not able to access internet. Trace from the server to internet is getting dropped at upstream router.server's private nic is in vlan20 which is 10.1.1.0/23 subnet, isn't it?
- genseek_32178Nimbostratusyes, route has been added for 3.3.3.3 in upstream router.
