F5 ARX cifs timeout
Hi,
I'm running into the issue that ARX managed volume is showing "Degraded" due to a share is "Offline: Unavailable" However, it is not consistent, the share is showing Online then few seconds/minutes later Offline. I'm expecting some type of CIFS timeout that the ARX couldn't get a response from the cifs server within "a number seconds ... like 45s" then it considers that the share is offline and reset the connection.
Questions: 1. what is the default timeout for CIFS? how to check? 2. How to modify/increase the timeout? Thank you very much!
From filer CIFS server log: Connection reset by peer (ARX processor IP x.x.x.x)
ARX error.log SWITCH:1-1-ACM-30565:VCIFS-6-ERR-DISPNORSP:: No response from filer x.x.x.x
