    All F5 appliances and chassis and software run the BIG-IP family of products. You can license whichever products you need on it like LTM, AFM, GTM, etc.. 5050 could be LTM only, or GTM only or LTM and GTM together or LTM and AFM, etc...

     

    This lets you pick the software functionality you need, then pick the hardware that matches your performances required.
