what is Console type for F5 3600 ? normal or null or what ? also for my F5 box , i can get no output on console , but if i rebooted it works fine & console start logging messages , then when box is ...

Yes. The terminal access connection is a standard DB9, yes. Only the fail over connector would be proprietary I believe.
