NimbostratusExternal connection via F5 keeping dropping - intermittently
Hello All, I have an issue where connection from any VM or physical servers behind our F5 keeps dropping or timing out. Sometime page will load sometime it will just say "page cannot be displayed".
however from F5 itself I can ping say google, yahoo. hotmail or any other sites fine but not from the VMs lives behind the firewall. This is something to do with DNS?
I have also tried to make a FTP connection from f5 - works fine and from VMs (behind f5) doesn't even resolve the ftp name. I have tried from windows and linux VMs all same result.
Please note that right now we do not any restriction.
Any idea where else I can look?

Can I assume the F5 is the default gateway out to the world for these VMs? Can you elaborate on your current configuration? What do the VMs point to for DNS?
mr_evil_116524Figured out issue, it was to do with NIC teaming. It was only allowed to ping even IP address and not the odd ones.
Still need to config the switch to setup link-agg
