Extending Disk Space

Dear finds,

 

I need your kind support and advice for two things, am new in this field. First I need to know to extend the disk space for my active VE machine because when I run df -h I found this output 485M 485M 0 100% /var/log then after increasing the space is there any impact for the running applications.

 

Second am facing page refreshing problem with Oracle application and F5 team believe this problem due full disk space so if I make my standby machine which it have 13% disk utilization as active may can solve my problem?

    Can you try deleting stale logs on /var/log to confirm that first (slow oracle app)?

    If you are running version 11.5.0 or later, please see article SOL14952 for details on increasing the amount of disk space allocated to the /var/log file system.

     

    For earlier BIG-IP software versions, the BIG-IP VE setup manual for the hypervisor on which the VE is running may have a similar procedure.
