Exchange 2010 health monitor difference between iApp and deployment guide
I build my Exchange 2010 environment with iApp I get a different result when building it with the deployment guide. I want to use simple http monitors.
With iApp I get a send string: "GET / HTTP1.1\r\nHost: \r\nConnection: Close\r\n\r\n"
In DG I read "Simple monitors only require the Type, Interval, and Timeout". So this gets me: "GET /\r\n"
Also the default timer is 10/31 in iAPP and 30/91 in DG
Please F5, tell me what to use

Hello, Which iAPP and DG are you using? I have copied the link to the latest dg for Exchange 2010/2013. http://f5.com/pdf/deployment-guides/microsoft-exchange-iapp-dg.pdf. The question in the iAPP under the Server health Monitors section Asks if you would like to use simple or advanced monitors. If you are looking to only monitor via a simple http(s) monitor then then select that option. The advanced monitor utilizes an EAV monitor and logs in with a "user" account to test access to the backend mailbox database. Are you trying to utilize the manual setup and not clear on what should be in the Send/Receive string or are you wanting to use the iAPP and feel the DG is inaccurate with what the iAPP is creating for monitors?

I use iApp 1.5.1 with DG 1.8 So all my simple monitors for https should have a send string that contains: GET / HTTP/1.1\r\nHost: [dns-name]\r\nConnection: Close\r\n\r\n ??

In DG the Outlook Anywere and Autodiscover monitors have no option for simple monitors
