Enterprise Manager communication with F5 devices

Dear Guys,

I would like to know from the experts that the Enterprise Manager communicates with the F5 devices in the network over the MGMT port or TMM port and which one is recommended if the communication can be through both. Also if an F5 device is discovered by Enterprise manager as Non-F5-Device what could be the possible reason (the communication between Enterprise Manger and F5 devices is open on port 443 and 4353).
